Where the Invisible Becomes Visionary
The SieMatic S2 Next Generation provides kitchen lovers with new possibilities to create their own, unique living space that subtly accentuates the interior design without overstating the genius of its functionality. In a magical interplay of revealed and concealed elements, the new S2 features several surprising—one might even say secret—storage options.
SieMatic SecretService
One of these is SieMatic SecretService, a sophisticated hidden drawer not visible to the naked eye. Concealed within the flat recess channel of the new S2, the clever little drawer demonstrates perfection in design and function. Nothing detracts from the clear lines, perfect angles, and elegant presence of the handleless cabinetry.
The slim solution creates perfect storage for flat and fine objects from smartphones to silverware. The drawer can also be equipped with knife holders—either magnetic or in wood to match the company’s renowned aluminum interiors—or dividers for organized and secure storage. Only those who are in on the secret can open the hidden drawer. Simply press to open.
SecretService is yet another testament to the expert engineering and perfect craftsmanship to be found in the S2 Next Generation.
SieMatic SecretSpace
With SecretSpace, SieMatic introduces an inventive technology that changes the look of the S2 Next Generation with the flick of a wrist. With the precision of Swiss clockwork, the closed cabinet can be set in motion with a gentle push, making a 180° turn to bring whatever’s inside into full view, ready to be enjoyed and used.
Even the lightest pieces remain in position, thanks to meticulous engineering and special fixtures to dampen the movement. Fine china, delicate crystal, even art objects—all are protected when closed and on display when open.
Available for both base and tall cabinets, the revolutionary rotation completely transforms the look of the S2 Next Generation kitchen.
SieMatic SecretSlide
The S2 Next Generation’s hefty countertop allows space for the amazing SieMatic SecretSlide. At first glance, a seemingly solid, thick stone countertop floats above the island’s recess channels. But look again and the countertop splits in two and slides sideways to reveal the cooktop below. Alternatively, SecretSlide can also hide a sink with a fold down faucet.
When fully extended, the two halves lock into position to create a considerably larger work surface for meal prep or dining with seating on both sides. Thanks to the smooth operation, devices, dishes, and even lightweight glasses can be left on the sliding countertop without fear of falling over. Later, the two-part natural stone top simply slides back together to completely cover what lies below.
SecretSlide integrates the kitchen even more seamlessly into the living space, making the multifunctional S2 Next Generation especially relevant to current lifestyles.
